1. Introduction

Welcome to Ascend Co Studio ("Ascend," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our co-working space, salon suites, event venue, and related services located at 1st Floor Unit 13, 20–22 Mary Street, Manchester, M3 1DZ.

By booking or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Definitions

  • Member: Any individual or business holding a co-working or salon suite membership.

  • Guest: Any individual using day passes, ad hoc rentals, or event hire services.

  • Services: Co-working desks, salon suites, venue hire, workshops, events, and amenities.

3. Membership & Bookings

3.1 Co-Working Membership

  • Monthly memberships are billed in advance on a rolling basis.

  • Access is granted Monday–Sunday, 8am–9pm.

  • Memberships may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice.

3.2 Salon Suite Rentals

  • Full-time suite rentals are billed weekly (Monday–Saturday).

  • Sunday drop-ins and ad hoc daily rentals must be booked and paid in advance.

  • Suite renters must maintain professional liability insurance.

3.3 Event Hire

  • Venue bookings require a deposit of 50% upon confirmation.

  • Full payment is due 7 days before the event date.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will forfeit the deposit.

4. Payment Terms

  • All payments must be made via the methods specified at booking.

  • Late payments may result in suspension of access until the account is settled.

  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing members.

5. Use of Facilities

5.1 General Conduct

  • Members and guests must treat the space, equipment, and other users with respect.

  • Smoking, illegal substances, and disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited.

  • Ascend reserves the right to remove any individual violating these terms.

5.2 Salon Suite Use

  • Suite renters are responsible for their own products, tools, and client bookings.

  • All waste must be disposed of properly.

  • Suite renters must comply with health and safety regulations.

5.3 Shared Spaces

  • Co-working members must keep shared areas tidy.

  • Personal belongings left overnight are at the owner's risk.

6. Liability & Insurance

  • Ascend is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

  • Members using salon suites must carry their own professional liability insurance.

  • Ascend maintains public liability insurance for the premises.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Memberships: 30 days' written notice required for cancellation.

  • Event Hire: Cancellations made 14+ days in advance receive a full refund minus a £50 admin fee. Cancellations within 14 days forfeit the deposit.

  • Day Passes & Ad Hoc Rentals: Non-refundable once booked.

8. Termination

Ascend reserves the right to terminate any membership or booking immediately if:

  • Payment terms are not met.

  • Terms and Conditions are violated.

  • Behavior is deemed harmful to the community or premises.

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, content, and materials related to Ascend Co Studio are the property of Ascend and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
